ONLINE AUCTIONS TO BENEFIT CULINARY STUDENTS!
The Culinary Hall of Fame in partnership with Chefs4Students.org is announcing the launch of an online auction platform in January of 2012 to benefit culinary students in need of assistance. Chefs4Students has awarded over $88,000 in grants over the past 8 years. Chefs4Students.org utilizes the Yampa Valley Community Foundation to independently oversee the financial aspects of this non-profit fund. Your contribution may be tax deductible.
HOW IT WORKS
We are actively soliciting culinary items from celebrity chefs, famous authors and culinarians. Examples of contributions could be a whisk from Alice Waters, a pair of autographed crocs from Mario Batali, a mortar and pestle used by Rick Bayless, an autographed chef hat from Thomas Keller, an autographed book by Bobby Flay, a cooking course at the CIA and other unique culinary items from foodies supporting our cause. We will then auction these treasures to the highest bidder right here at the Culinary Hall of Fame. To guarantee authenticity, all merchandise is shipped to the winning bidder directly by the donor. Payments from winning bidders are cleared via Paypal.
THE PRINCIPALS
100% of proceeds from fundraisers, auctions and donations are granted to culinary students in need of financial assistance. Travel, postage, fees and other overhead expenses are born and paid for by the principal organizers.
